Nov. 29

So I've been going to the gym regularly and it's amazing who I meet and see there. I have seen Ali, Fiona, Heidi, Shantae, Colton, Adam, and Kelsey all from Costco, Chase and Bracken Englestead from Panguitch, Tori from Circleville and Emily from Salt Lake. Lately I have been taking Bob with me and we play racquetball at the courts they have there, and I must admit that I am getting to be quite good at it. Still learning how to read the ball and figure out where it will bounce and stuff like that but I get really good kill shots and super slapper serves. :) I have noticed that Bob is quite the sore loser, well let me rephrase that since he's only lost twice, but he's quite the poor sportsman, and a pig. There are a lot of college girls that go there with their short shorts and tight shirts to "work-out" and all he does is stare at them instead of playing the game. Then he gets mad because he is losing and then throws a teasy fit until he wins or is ahead. Made me think of how I act and view women, and the stark contrast between him and I.
During our first game I had a good giggling spurt and couldn't stop laughing at everything, and it felt oh so good. Laughing is good for the soul, sort of like a band-aid on our subconscious wounds. You know what else are like band-aids..... puppies. My co-worker Ali and her husband, who actually live in Mapleton now, just got a 3 week old Great Dane. He's SO cute, now I think I want a Great Dane instead of Boxer, but they only live 8-12 years and that's not very long at all. :(
I've also been listening to a lot of conference talks, and most of them refer to "young adults" who are just sailing through this part of life and getting too comfortable with being single. I took that to heart and now I am engaged...... I met her last night and we are getting married on the 12 of Dec. :) But seriously I think I am to the point in life where girls aren't just for going out with and having fun, I have to change from dating to "courting." Yay......

Santa Run

So I have registered to run another 5k and it's this Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011. It's at the NuSkin Building (100 West Center Street Provo) and basically is just 3 laps around a few blocks. The race starts at 4:30 and should be lots of fun!! :) The weather forecast is like 38 degrees though, so if you want to come dress warm..... :)

Remember that due to the construction that NuSkin is asking everyone to park near 200 West and 100 South near the State Liquor Store. It is a block or so further but it is the closest parking that is available.

Love you all
